Depok, December 1, 2023 – As an eCommerce platform operating in Indonesia, Lazada Indonesia (Lazada) recognizes the crucial role of corporations in contributing to public health, especially for mothers and children living around the company’s operational sites. Therefore, on Friday (1/12), Lazada inaugurated the Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) facility in Jatijajar Village, Cimanggis, Depok, where the business unit Lazada Logistics has the largest eCommerce warehouse facility in Indonesia. This Posyandu is expected to facilitate the community’s need for integrated health services, particularly for mothers and children in the area.
The inauguration event was attended by the Community Development Head of Lazada Logistics Indonesia, Tomy Diliartono, the Head of Jatijajar Village, Mujahidin, the Chairman of RW 03 of Jatijajar Village, Endarto, and the VP of Medical Operations of Good Doctor, Dr. Ega Bonar Bastari. Good Doctor is Lazada’s partner in providing this Posyandu facility.
VP of Facilities & HSE, Logistics, Lazada Indonesia, Douglas Pakpahan stated, “After discussing with the Jatijajar community and understanding the need for integrated health facilities, we decided to build this Jatijajar Posyandu. We hope this facility will encourage community awareness of the importance of maintaining health, especially among mothers and children in Jatijajar Village, Cimanggis, Depok.”
The Jatijajar Posyandu facility is part of the CSR program of Lazada Logistics. The construction of the 32 m2 Jatijajar Posyandu, occupying a 84 m2 land, was built in collaboration with Good Doctor. This Jatijajar Posyandu facility is expected to facilitate easier access to health services for the community of Jatijajar Village, Cimanggis, Depok, West Java.
As Lazada’s partner in providing this Posyandu facility, the VP of Medical Operations at PT Good Doctor Technology, Dr. Ega Bonar Bastari, commented, “Our collaboration with Lazada in building this facility reflects our joint vision to enhance healthcare services. The Head of Jatijajar Village, Mujahidin, delivered a speech during the inauguration of the Jatijajar Posyandu in Cimanggis, Depok, West Java, which represents the commitment to improving health around Lazada Indonesia’s facilities.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony and plaque presentation were attended by the Community Development Committee Chairman of Lazada Indonesia, Tomy Diliartono, the Head of Jatijajar Village, Mujahidin, and the Chairman of RW 03 of Jatijajar Village, Endarto.
