Good Doctor and Lazada Logistics Collaborate to Improve the Welfare of Lazada Logistics Employees Through Health Check Services

Jakarta, 13 June 2023 – Employee health is a determining factor in the progress of a business. The 2022—2023 Global Wellbeing Survey by global business consultant Aon in collaboration with multinational market research company Ipsos found that the higher the level of welfare a company provides to employees, the better the employee’s sustainable work life in one company, employees will be able to adapt quickly to carry out their responsibilities and have a sense of ownership of the company.

Improving factors that improve employee well-being can increase company performance by 11%—55%. In a survey conducted on 1,100 companies in 46 countries, including Indonesia, 90% of companies agreed that investing in health was the right strategy to improve employee welfare.

One form of health investment that companies can make is providing a medical check-up program for employees. By carrying out a medical check-up, if an employee experiences a health problem, it can be treated immediately before the illness gets worse, resulting in much greater medical costs. The results of medical check-ups can also increase employee awareness to start adopting a healthy lifestyle. For companies, providing medical check-up programs to employees can reduce health costs, so medical check-ups as a disease prevention measure are increasingly important.

Examinations carried out include physical, eye, blood and urine examinations, measuring and recording heart activity (ECG), audiometric tests to test hearing sharpness, and spirometry tests to assess lung performance.
